Historic Bishop McDevitt High School, located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, has engaged Ghiorsi & Sorrenti Inc as campaign counsel, it was announced by the New Jersey-based fund raising and public relations firm.

Founded in 1918 as the Catholic High School of Harrisburg on North Street in downtown Harrisburg, the school remains a vital able Catholic educational resource that continues to develop, inspire and motivate students in all aspects of academic, spiritual, athletic and social life. Today the philosophy of the school and the nurturing of the student–mind, body and spirit–has remained essentially the same, bearing evidence to the validity, vitality and community endorsement of Bishop McDevitt High School.

Plans today call for the relocation from the current six acre site to a new multi-million 86-acre world class campus; and a focused effort to begin to address the need for increasing the School’s endowment. In the opening weeks of the capital campaign, the school has already secured two seven-figure gifts.
